Our Next Meeting: Friday 10th September RSVP Now

Introducing FileMaker Go with Rosemary Tietge

FileMaker Go allows you to view, edit, and search your FileMaker Pro records on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Your existing FileMaker Pro layouts look amazing on the large iPad display screen – no modification is necessary for many solutions. FileMaker Go easily connects to databases hosted on FileMaker Server or FileMaker Pro via a local wireless network or over the Internet using Wi-Fi or 3G. If you do not have access to FileMaker Server or will not have an Internet connection while you are on the go, simply copy your solutions directly to FileMaker Go using File Sharing in iTunes. While it is great to finally work with FileMaker Pro databases on the iPhone and iPad, there are many things to consider when deploying legacy systems to this platform. Many script steps are not supported, and the touch interface may require simplified layouts. Attend this meeting to see FileMaker Go in action and learn best practices for deploying FileMaker Pro systems to this new platform.
